BIO (SHORT)

Anitra Nottingham has taught graphic design for 10 years and is currently Online Director for the School of Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. She is a graduate of the Design School at Monash University Australia, and began her career in beauty product packaging before moving into book design at the venerable Oxford University Press (est. 1478!), and later, Penguin Books, Australia. She has been a creative director for the small Bay Area design studio, London Road Design, and the large Silicon Valley software company; Intuit. Anitra lives and works from Melbourne, Australia, where she spends her time finding new ways to align the worlds of the traditional classroom, and AAU’s ever-evolving distance-learning technologies.
